Located just outside of Downtown Los Angeles in the Westlake neighborhood, the School of Social Justice (or SJ as it is affectionately known) is one of four high schools located on the Miguel Contreras Learning Complex - named for the honored union and labor activist, Miguel Contreras. SJ is committed to following the path to educational justice for its students and community. We take pride in developing and guiding our students into becoming champions and role models of social change, justice, and equity for all. Our curriculum and culture of learning focuses on topics of educational rights and social justice aligned to our mission to Educate, Organize, Advocate.
